Micro-lipofilling of dark circles consists in making hollow circles disappear thanks to a transfer of autologous fat (from the patient). The fat is extracted by liposuction from the abdomen or the inside of the knees, before being cleaned, defibrosed and reinjected into the dark circles using a cannula. The injected fat fills hollows and tightens the skin of the lower eyelids. Surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and lasts approximately one to two hours. The procedure is painless, as it is performed under local anesthesia or, as required, general anesthesia.
