Nano-lipofilling: regenerating tissue and restoring the skin’s youthful appearance

Nano-lipofilling, a specific fat injection technique

Nano-lipofilling, also known as nano-lipostructure or nanofat grafting, is an innovative method based on the injection of stem cells and growth factors into the dermis. The technique goes further than simply restoring the volumes offered by classic lipofilling, since these cells regenerate the dermis, improving the texture, quality and radiance of the skin in a natural and lasting way.

So it’s not just a question of looking younger, but of restoring your skin’s youthfulness! Please note that nano-lipofilling is still not widely practised in France, as it is a recent procedure and not well known among facial plastic surgeons. For this reason, it is essential to use a qualified practitioner with the latest equipment and a trained team.

I propose to introduce you to this regenerative medicine technique in detail during an aesthetic consultation and following a precise examination of your features.

Nano-lipofilling: what are the indications?

I recommend nano-lipofilling to my patients in the following cases:

  • Correct superficial skin damage and improve skin texture
  • Fade wrinkles, spots and acne scars
  • Treat dark circles by thickening the skin, making it less transparent
  • Improve the appearance of unsightly scars and damaged skin.

What’s more, some clinical trials have shown that the technique stimulates hair regrowth and can regenerate the vulvo-vaginal area.

How does nano-lipofilling work?

Following an initial consultation in which I examine your face and its specific features, and rule out any potential contraindications to the operation, nano-lipofilling can be considered. The procedure takes place in the operating room and lasts around 1 hour. It is performed under neuroleptanalgesia or general anesthesia, depending on the patient.

I begin by removing a small amount of fat with a syringe from your abdomen, thighs or inner knees. These fat cells will then be cleaned of impurities and filtered many times to obtain a kind of fluid rich in stem cells.

Using a fine cannula, I’ll inject this solution superficially onto your face or dark circles, depending on the indication to be treated. Plunged into a favorable environment, these cells will then mix naturally with the cells already present and gradually regenerate skin tissue, making it brighter, more luminous and healthier.

This is a risk-free technique because no synthetic product is injected into the body, only the patient’s own fat, eliminating any risk of rejection or allergy.

Nano-lipofilling, a technique that offers lasting results

The technique offers long-lasting results. Volumes are restored, wrinkles treated and skin tissue regenerated in the same operation. What’s more, nano-lipofilling is the only safe and effective method for masking dark circles.

It does, however, involve a short period of desocialization (5 to 7 days), due to the presence of a few bruises at the injection sites. However, there are no major skin traumas or complications. Finally, I’ll give you a few recommendations to follow in the days following the operation to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
