How to correct an old hyaluronic acid injection in dark circles?

What is hyaluronic acid?
Hyaluronic acid is a substance synthesised naturally by our body. Present in the skin, it fills the intercellular spaces and acts as a moisturiser, giving the smooth, elastic skin associated with youth.
With age, the production of hyaluronic acid declines, which leads to a loss of elasticity, gradual dehydration and a loss of volume. To counter these effects, hyaluronic acid is used in aesthetic medicine as a filler. Fine injections smooth out wrinkles and restore lost volume: a real youthful boost, from a product that the body tolerates very well.
Why use hyaluronic acid injections to treat dark circles?
Many people turn tohyaluronic acid injections to fill dark circles, a procedure that Dr Hayot advises against.

- Hyaluronidase injection to remove the hyaluronic acid lodged in the dark circles
- Correction of the dark circles using lipofilling or nano-lipofilling
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid. Like hyaluronic acid, it is naturally present in our bodies; in aesthetic medicine it is used to correct old, unsuitable hyaluronic acid injections, particularly in the dark circles.
A few injections of this molecule are enough to fade the puffiness and the bluish discoloration caused by an earlier treatment of the dark circles. To date, hyaluronidase is the only way of treating the puffiness and bluish appearance of dark circles treated with hyaluronic acid.
