Doctor
Bernard Hayot

Ophthalmologist and former chief resident, trained in oculoplastic surgery. Dr Hayot devotes his practice to eyelid and eye surgery.

“My credo is naturalness. I work like an art restorer: I reveal what was already there, without ever leaving a trace of my hand.”

Dr Hayot presents his approach

The philosophy

Restore without transforming

“My role is not to remake a face, but to give it back the light that time had veiled.”

Every gaze carries a story, and it is that story that must be preserved. Dr Hayot’s approach starts from a rigorous anatomical reading: fat compartments, skin tone, muscle dynamics, in order to restore without freezing, lighten without erasing, correct without ever distorting. The most accurate result is the one nobody notices: people find you rested, without being able to say why.

Understanding recovery

What happens when a blepharoplasty goes too far

Hollow eye, round eye, an eyelid that no longer closes completely, dry eye appearing after surgery. These outcomes have precise names, and they depend directly on what was removed, moved or left aside.

Prevent and maintain

The first signs of ageing appear around the eyes: small pockets of fat, dark circles that deepen.

Restore the eyes

The whole eye area is ageing: drooping eyelids, hollow dark circles, bags. It is treated as a whole.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Surgery or aesthetic medicine: how to choose?

Aesthetic medicine treats early signs with non-invasive techniques (Botox, hyaluronic acid, laser, thread lifts); surgery corrects established structural changes (excess skin, bags, sagging) with longer-lasting results. The consultation determines the appropriate approach, sometimes a combination of both.

Face lift or lipofilling: what is the difference?

A face lift tightens and repositions sagging tissues; lipofilling restores lost volumes with your own fat, without major incisions and with a faster recovery. Two complementary logics: a face may need one, the other, or both.

Is a teleconsultation possible?

Yes, you can consult Dr Hayot from anywhere: an appointment at the practice in Paris or a first medical teleconsultation at a distance, to discuss your project and set up a personalised protocol.

Does Dr Hayot operate on other parts of the body?

Dr Hayot is an ophthalmologist whose practice is devoted to oculoplastic surgery. His work is centred on eye surgery: upper and lower eyelids, bags, ptosis, brow. Procedures that go beyond the periorbital region, such as the oval and neck lift, are performed four-handed with a surgeon qualified for these operations.
